PRIDE AND HONOUR DAY

On the 14 Of January 2007, TWSS NPCC unit held a Pride and Honour Day for our S/NCOs and our Sir Wei Keat, as a farewell party and at the same time as a party to award cadets and be promoted too. In order to make sure this event run smoothly, cadets, TOs and our HO spent nearly 1 month to prepare all the stuff and awards, same applies to the cadets and NCOs who helped out in the decorations and even emcee scripts has been run through with the TOs for about 3 times, it was really hard work yet we all enjoyed the party. We had real fun in the end even though we still have to clear the place up.

We commence the party with a small but warming song and also the introduction of CIs, TOs and HO. A few of our S/NCO received their SI rank and it really encourages the cadets and NCOs to contribute to NPCC just for this day. Next, we gave out the best unit cadet plug to award them with all the effort and time they put in to NPCC. We also had a few videos played which allow us to know more about the things happening in NPCC and I am sure it fantasize the cadets as most of them open their eyes real wide. Through the videos, we can see how much our senior love NPCC and as cadets, we look upon them as an example to excel and achieve in NPCC. Our S/NCOs also gave us a speech on how they fair and what they did during the part 3 - 4 years in NPCC, from their speech, we could feel their joy and even though there will still be sad and unhappy times during NPCC, they still love and treasure NPCC.

We ended the programme with a few group photos taken and through the smile we reveal during the photo taking, I am sure we all enjoyed our day.
